Chief Anthony Hershey brings over two decades of dedicated service and leadership in law enforcement to the Vespucci Police Department. A native of the City of Los Santos, Chief Hershey began his career as a patrol officer with the Los Santos Police Department, steadily rising through the ranks due to his commitment to public safety, strategic thinking, and unwavering integrity.
Chief Hershey holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from San Andreas State University and later earned a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of North Yankton. He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy and has completed advanced leadership training through the San Andreas Police Chiefs Association and the Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST).
Throughout his career, Chief Hershey has served in a variety of roles, including field training officer, narcotics detective, SWAT assistant team leader, and internal affairs investigator. His experience spans both community-based policing initiatives and high-level tactical operations. Prior to his appointment in Vespucci, he served as a Captain with the Los Santos Police Department, where he oversaw operations, crime reduction strategies, and officer development programs.
Under Chief Hershey’s leadership, the Vespucci Police Department is committed to transparency, accountability, and building strong partnerships with the community. He emphasizes officer wellness, modern policing technologies, and proactive strategies to ensure the safety and trust of the residents of Vespucci.
